L'Opera Italian Restaurant

L’Opera was established in August of 1988. After 2 years of design and transformation we opened our doors for business on a Thursday afternoon in April of 1990.

L’Opera is located on Pine Avenue in one of Long Beach’s most famous historical landmarks that began life in 1906 as the First National Bank of Long Beach. The building is simply known as one of the most beautiful structures in Long Beach and is familiarly known as the “L’Opera Building.” The award winning design features a complete restoration of the original ceilings accented by a series of marble columns that sit handsomely on the mahogany hardwood flooring throughout the Main Dining Room. The restaurant is richly adorned with etched beveled glass and granite throughout, featuring a modern exhibition kitchen. The
basement level houses The Wine Cellar & La Scala, our two beautiful private dining rooms.
