On November 10th, 2022 Bastards Canteen, in association with Save The Brave Nonprofit, present the 10th annual 247th Marine Corps Birthday & Veterans Day Bash in Downtown Downey, Ca.
Bastards' biggest event of the year returns to Downtown Downey celebrating our marines, veterans, community, and history. This year is like no other- We’re closing down the street between 2nd and 4th Avenue!
Festivities include:
Live Music performances on the main stage all night!

Marine Corps Tradition: On November 10th 1775 the Marine Corps was created by a resolution of Continental Congress at Tun-Tavern Philadelphia. Since that date, thousands of men have borne the name "Marine". In memory of them, it is fitting that those that call themselves Marines should commemorate the birthday of our Corps by calling to mind the glories of its long and illustrious history. Along with honoring the Corps birthday we will pay homage to all veterans past and present who have served in our nation's military in honor of Veterans Day.
